The midnight black aluminum HP ENVY dv7-7240us 17.3" Notebook PC features a Windows 8 (64-bit) operating system, 8GB of DDR3 RAM memory and an Intel Core i5 dual-core 2.5GHz processor with Turbo Boost technology up to 3.1GHz. The notebook also features Intel HD Graphics 4000 and a 17.3" HD+ BrightView LED-backlit display with 1600 x 900 resolution. Plus, there's a 750GB hard drive that is protected from bumps thanks to HP ProtectSmart.

For Internet connectivity, the ENVY dv7 is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet jack and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It also supports Bluetooth wireless technology.
