The Samsung Series 7 Gamer NP700G7C-S02US 17.3" Notebook Computer is a gamers' dream. It has the bells and whistles that will help you step up your game online and offline, and the power to make you an impressive force on the gaming field.
It features a 2.4GHz Intel Core i7-3630QM processor, 16GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM, and a 1.5TB ExpressCache 7200 rpm hard drive with a special 8GB cache for quick program and application access. All of those things will definitely improve your game play experience, but the 17.3" LED backlit SuperBright+ Full HD display, with over 400nits of brightness and a native 1920 x 1080 resolution, will enhance it. Samsung's SuperBright technology squeezes every pixel out of the screen by boosting the screen's brightness and going full-on with contrast. Colors appear more natural and less washed out, and dark areas produce a deeper black. This is also helped by the dedicated nVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M graphics card with 2GB of RAM.
The Series 7 Gamer notebook also comes configured with a Blu-ray disc drive so that you can watch movies in high definition. HDMI and VGA ports on the laptop let you enjoy those movies on any compatible HDTV or external monitor at full 1920 x 1080 resolution. It also rocks integrated 4W (2x 2W) stereo speakers and an integrated subwoofer using Dolby Home Theater sound.
The unit has standard Internet connectivity with a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Other Internet necessities include a 2.0 MP webcam and integrated microphone. For input, the laptop includes a full 101-key backlit keyboard with numeric keypad and a multi-gesture touchpad.
No respectable laptop is found without USB 3.0 connections, and this one has two, along with two USB 2.0 connections. All feature Samsung's Sleep-n-Charge functionality, which allows you to charge USB devices even when the unit is turned off.
