Computer Policy and Warranty InformationPlease familiarize yourself with the following policies and warranty information.

Total Protection Policy

800HighTech.com satisfaction guarantee is per the terms set forth as follows:

If, for any reason you should fail to be satisfied with your 800HighTech.com product, you may return it within 30 days of the original ship date for a complete refund of your purchase price.

To return products, call the 800HighTech.com at 1 800 204-5247 within 30 days of the original ship date. Ask to speak to Sean Brennan.

When you call, be sure to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA number must appear on all communications about the returned product and on the outside of the packaging.

To return your product(s), you must:

  1. Return them to the shipper in their original packaging
  2. Prepay shipping charges 
  3. Insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment

You may return software for refund or credit only if the sealed package containing the diskettes is unopened.

Returned products must be in as-new condition. All manuals, diskettes, CD-ROM(s), power cables, and other items included with a product must be returned with the product(s). As the customer, you must use whatever means necessary to ensure the product(s) are mailed.

Please fax shipping and insured mail receipts to 800HighTech.com at(insert  Sean’s fax number) within 30 days of the original ship date.

Note: The telephone numbers listed above are Toll-Free for the United States and Canada, and customer dialing for international lines will have to use the appropriate international connection codes.

Failure to comply with all of the above constitutes a waiver of your right of return for a 100% refund.

Returns and Repairs Policy

Our Return Repair Promise:

For one year after the date of original retail purchase, 800highTech.com, through our vendor 3rd Coast Advantage LLC, will repair your product(s) and ship it back to you as soon as possible after your product(s) arrives at our repair facility.

When you return products, you pay for shipping the products to us. You can qualify to have your shipping postage and insurance costs reimbursed electronically to your bank account by following these two steps:

  • Prepare a letter that contains your bank name, routing number, and checking or savings account number. This letter must also contain an APO/FPO address.
  • Fax the letter to 800highTech.com at 866-828-6294 This is a United States toll free telephone number, so you may also have to dial international connection codes.

Once we determine the repair is covered under your warranty, 800highTech.com will reimburse your checking or savings account electronically.

After your product(s) has been repaired, 3rd Coast Advantage LLC will send the product(s) to you via USPS Priority Mail at no charge to you IF the repair was covered under the warranty. If the repair was not covered under the warranty you must arrange to pay for the return shipping.  If your address is in the United States, 3rd Coast Advantage LLC may send the product(s) via UPS.

Our Lifetime Free Technical Support Promise

3rd Coast Advantage LLC will provide free telephone technical support for the original purchaser of a 3rd Coast Advantage LLC product purchased from 800highTech.com. This free support will continue as long as the original purchaser possesses the product.

One Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty Policy

800highTech.com and its vendor, 3rd Coast Advantage LLC, warrants this hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. If you discover a defect, 800highTech.com, through their vendor 3rd Coast Advantage LLC, will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of this product at no cost to you provided that you return it during the warranty period, and provided you obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number prior to shipping your defective product.

The RMA number must appear plainly on the outside of the shipping packaging. RMA numbers can be obtained by calling 3rd Coast Advantage LLC at 1-866-294-2193 for return merchandise authorization. For each product returned for warranty service, please attach your name, address, telephone number, RMA number, and proof of date of original retail purchase. You must ship the product(s) to 3rd Coast Advantage LLC in its original packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. 800highTech.com owns all parts removed from repaired products. 3rd Coast Advantage LLC uses new and reconditioned parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and building replacement products. If 3rd Coast Advantage LLC repairs or replaces a product, its warranty term is not extended. This warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for 800highTech.com that can be identified by a purchase agreement from 800highTech.com. 800highTech.com provides no warranty whatsoever for any software provided with its products; manufacturers warrant their software separately.

This warranty does not cover the battery, which has a separate 3-month warranty, or components of the system that do not meet 3rd Coast Advantage LLC’s definition of defective including, but not limited to, LCD panels with less than seven (7) defective pixels, damage due to external causes, including accident, water, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing unauthorized by 3rd Coast Advantage LLC, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by 3rd Coast Advantage LLC.

This warranty does not apply if the product has been modified without the written permission of 3rd Coast Advantage LLC, or if any 3rd Coast Advantage LLC’s serial number(s) or that of their original equipment manufacturer has been removed or defaced.

The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, whether oral or written, express or implied. 800highTech.com specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including without limitation, warranties, or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No 800highTech.com dealer, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.

800highTech.com is not responsible for special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill damage to or replacement of equipment and property, and any costs of recovering reprogramming or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with 800highTech.com products.

Note: Before you ship your defective product(s) to 3rd Coast Advantage LLC, back up your data on the hard disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as media cards, CD-ROMs, or PC Cards from your defective product(s). If you have any questions, call 800 204-5247 for technical assistance.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions of implied warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. The 800highTech.com total protection policy repair policies apply to hardware only. Software problems may take longer to repair.
