Samsung 55-inch LCD HDTV
Product Description
Samsung is once again at the forefront of LCD HDTV technology. Not only does the LN55B650 deliver a stunning high-definition picture, but it lets you connect to the Internet for even more entertainment choices. Touch-panel controls give the TV a clean, elegant look, complemented by red accents running along the top and bottom of the gloss black frame.
120Hz refresh rate for smooth motion
While most HDTVs still use a 60Hz refresh rate, the LN55B650 doubles that to 120Hz. This advanced video processing works together with Samsung's Auto Motion Plus technology to create smoother images with less motion blur — something you'll definitely appreciate if you watch a lot of action movies or fast-paced sports. Everything you watch will look more solid and three-dimensional.
Plenty of connections for your high-def gear
Four HDMI inputs make it easy to plug in HD components such as cable/satellite receivers, video game consoles, and Blu-ray players. Plus, they offer "CEC" control, which lets you operate compatible HDMI-equipped Samsung components using only the TV's remote. That's a nice option if you keep your components hidden away in a cabinet or if you simply don't want more remotes cluttering your coffee table.
Do much more than watch TV
This state-of-the-art HDTV gives you a wealth of multimedia entertainment options. A rear Ethernet port lets you use your broadband Internet connection to access Yahoo! Widgets, letting you enjoy content from services such as Yahoo! News, Flickr, and USA Today. You can also stream movies and music from a computer running DLNA software. Or, watch your favorite video clips by plugging a thumb drive into the USB port on the side of the TV. A second USB port is included to also let you connect an optional wireless USB adapter, so you can enjoy this set's networking capabilities without running Ethernet cable.
