How do I get started? |
|
The first step is to fill out our Express Credit Application after selecting a product. This will not obligate you to buy anything. It will simply give our finance company access to your credit info, which will allow us to come up with a price quote and financing proposal for the system you want. You will only need to fill this out once and it will be saved in you your user profile. You can update this information at anytime! |

Why must I complete a credit application to get a quote? |
|
All of our sales are financed, and your financing proposal depends on your credit info, how you pay your bills, your discharge date, your spouse's employment, etc. Once our finance company has established your credit limit, we can offer you a suitable price quote and financing proposal. Bad Credit? No Credit? NO PROBLEM! We will finance you a computer with zero money down, low monthly payments and help you rebuild credit! |

After I apply, what do I need to do? |
|
After you apply, you will be prompted to log-in to the control panel and view your pending orders. After you click to view the details, you will see the steps you need to take to complete: Submit Your LES, Submit Your EFT, and Create and Submit Your Allotment Info.
A representative will contact you via phone or e-mail to assist you through the entire buying process. You will receive a proposal confirming the specifications of the computer you desire, and a price quote based on your credit approval. When messages are available in your control panel, you will receive an Email notification. |

How long does the entire process take? |
Credit approval usually takes only a day, and the rest of your paperwork can be completed in one or two days. Your computer is then built, tested and shipped after we receive your LES, NET EFT, and Allotment. Can I get financing despite bad credit or no credit? |
|
Our financing has never been easier. When we began shipping to APO/FPO addresses over 10 years ago, our finance company denied 5 to 10 percent of all credit applications. But we consistently satisfied our customers, and they responded with prompt payments. Thanks to this outstanding record, our finance company today approves more than 99 percent of all our applicants-and offers most of them one year interest-free. |

How many payments will I have to make? |
|
That's entirely up to you. We require only that you pay a monthly minimum. If you'd like to pay more, or even pay off your entire balance in one shot, you're free to do so without any penalty whatsoever. As long as there's room on your credit limit, you can easily add upgrades and other purchases to your account. |

Why do you need relative references? |
|
Relative references enable our finance company to get in touch with those rare customers who do not fulfill their payment agreements. We require three such references, no exceptions. You must tell us each relative's relationship to you (brother, sister, etc.) and provide us with their address and phone number. Your spouse may be listed as a reference. You may include your spouse’s relatives as references only if your spouse is a co-applicant. |

How will my computer be shipped, and how long will it take to reach me? |
|
Normal delivery time is 7-14 days. However, please keep in mind that delays occasionally do occur. Although we can offer every assurance that we will build and send your computer promptly, once it's in the hands of the shipper we have no control over its delivery. You can help to avoid unnecessary delays by providing accurate and up-to-date shipping information on your application. If your package doesn't arrive within two weeks, please contact us and we will try to resolve the problem, providing it originates at our end. If our records show that the item was already shipped, we'll provide you with tracking numbers so that you can contact the shipper and have them track down the item, if possible. Shipments that aren't going to military overseas addresses are sent via UPS. An advantage of buying a computer from 800HighTech.com is that we ship to any APO address anywhere in the world. To do so, we must use the U.S. Postal Service and the Military Postal Service, which has no tracking system. However, all shipments are fully insured, so there is no risk of financial loss in the unlikely event that an item should be mislaid en route. In such a case, we'll simply replace your computer once you've filed a claim with the USPS. One final note: To accommodate the speakers, gaming systems are shipped in three boxes. It's not unusual for these boxes to get separated during shipment and arrive on different days-so if you don't receive all of them at once, please allow a few more days for the rest to arrive. |

What if I apply and never receive a response from you. Have I been denied credit? |
|
Absolutely Not! Every applicant gets an e-mail response from the representative handling his application within 24 hours of applying everyday of the week except Sunday. If you do not get a call or an e-mail then either you don’t have a phone or you are blocking our e-mails. Some of you have your phone blocked too. We call and here “Do not accept calls from strangers”. If you want to be contacted please make sure you can receive calls or e-mail from us. |

What if I cannot phone you even using the toll free number and even regular e-mail is hard as I do not currently own a computer? |
|
We have the automated approval system that makes it possible for you to use our site and without phone or e-mails complete the process as long as you have Internet access. Simply apply and follow the prompts. |

Will this repair my credit? |
|
No, we only sell products. We are not extending any credit under your purchase agreement. If you finance your purchase you are applying directly to third-party lenders for a line of credit to finance this purchase. We are not a credit service organization nor is it acting as one. Most of our third party lenders report to the credit bureaus so how you pay this account will be reflected on your credit report. |

May I upgrade my computer? |

Yes, we have a unique upgrade program where at anytime you may purchase upgrades for your computer at cost and our techs will help with installing these updates at cost too. This option is reserved for customers who are paying on their account as agreed and SOME third party lenders will allow you to add this cost onto your current account. |

Does the merchandise that I purchase come with a warranty? |
|
Yes, all merchandise that we offer comes with a standard Manufacturer's warranty, and technical support. The factory warranty period on all products is determined by each individual manufacturer. Unlike most sellers you may contact us directly about warranty repairs and depending on the problem we deal with the manufacturer on your behalf AND supplement factory warranties regularly. Please contact the manufacturer for more details about the warranty. |

Does the merchandise come with insurance? |
|
Yes your merchandise is shipped registered and insured. We accept full responsibility for the safe delivery of your merchandise wherever that may be. The merchandise does NOT come with insurance through us once you have received it. . We ARE NOT LIABLE if your merchandise is lost or stolen after delivery. Plus, if you financed your purchase through a third-party lender you will still be responsible to pay for your merchandise purchase that was financed through the respective third party lender. Please contact your insurance agent to determine whether you have home owners or renter's insurance that covers theft or loss of your personal property. If you don't have home owners or renter's insurance please contact the insurance company of your choice to obtain this type of insurance to protect your personal property. |

Do we guarantee financing? |

No. We DO NOT guarantee financing. We ONLY sell products. We are not extending any credit under your purchase agreement. If you finance your purchase you are applying directly to a third-party lender for a line of credit to finance this purchase. We are not a credit service organization nor is it acting as one. We have preferred financed companies where we believe we have a good chance of getting you approved. However if you already have a relationship with your own finance company you may want to use them. |

Does the sale price on my Purchase Agreement include interest? |
|
No, the sale prices on your Purchase Agreement DOES NOT include interest*. The sale price is the original sales price on your Purchase Agreement. If you financed your merchandise listed on your purchase agreement through a third-party lender, then, please contact the third-party lender who you financed your purchase for the details about your account.
*We have arranged with certain finance companies (third party lenders) that IF our customer pays off their entire balance within one year of the date on their purchase agreement the finance company will refund all the finance charges paid on that account. So if the account is paid within one year the price on the purchase agreement is all the customer will pay. |
